If you love to pour over rare books, visit the sites of famous battles, or take a trip to colonial homesteads, you’ll enjoy the Brandywine area of Delaware County. Here, you’ll find many historic attractions, both big and small.

Visit the Liberty Bell in Your Mercedes Today

Drive Your Mercedes To The Philadelphia Marathon

The fact that you drive a Mercedes says something about you. It says that you care about quality. It also says you've got an eye on the future, and that you look at life as an investment.

Just like you care about your Mercedes, you also care about your health. You know that, every now and again, it's good to park your Mercedes and get in a good run. Why not try something different this year and participate in the Philadelphia Marathon?

One of the most historic foot races in the entire United States, the Philadelphia marathon includes mostly flat terrain. The marathon course passes some of the best loved Philadelphia landmarks, including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the house of Betsy Ross. The marathon winds through the streets of the old city. It starts at Eakins Oval, at the fitness and sports expo. It ends near the recently-restored Fairmount Water Works.

You can register for the race and pick up running gear at the fitness and sports expo at Eakins Oval.

Philly To Host First Annual U.S. Sports Film Festival

If you know anything about Philly, you know that we love sports.

Whether it's baseball, football, basketball, or hockey, Philadelphia is proud of its sports heritage. And now, Philadelphia has found another new way to honor its sports heritage: with the first annual U.S. Sports Film Festival.

The U.S. Sports Film festival will feature some of the best sports movies ever produced, from The Natural to Invincible. In addition to these better-known films, the festival will feature some independent and lesser-known films. One of the most interesting of the bunch is Kassim The Dream. This movie tell sthe story of Boxer Kassim Ouma, and how he overcame oppression in the Ugandan army, using boxing as his path to freedom, and eventually earning a World Champion title.

There are several special events that will accompany the festival. For example, there will be a sports memorabilia auction. There will also be a 5k run. There will be a conference on the theme of "Sports Making a Difference."

The festival will honor eight-time Emmy winner Bud Greenspan, as well as Vince Papale, who was the inspiration for Invincible.

Hop into your Mercedes and come check out this great experience. The U.S. Sports Film Festival runs from October 23-26, 2008.
